A good book (romance or sci fi), a good movie (action, fantasy, or romance), merlot, Spring, Percherons, pickup trucks, computers, coffee, platform video games, math.

Most humans, politicians, insurance, know-it-alls.

I'm never sure what to say about myself in a general biography. I now lead a very quiet life in a country setting amidst corn fields, cows, horses and chickens.

I am a computer programmer and a very successful one at that, having spent some three decades hacking my way through many systems. It has been a hell of a career that had me on Wall Street through down turns and up swings. I was a witness to both attacks on the World Trade Center.

I have wandered all over America, Canada and some parts of Europe. I dream of one day of buying a motorcycle and riding out to the Grand Canyon and The Painted Desert just for the experience.

I'm a dreamer who likes to write stories, so you could say I'm aspiring writer. I'm thinking of making it my next career, despite the warnings and cautions from others. Apparently, the literary highway is littered with the bodies of those who have not made it. Unfortunately, the information super highway has had its share of major collisions as of late. I guess it just a matter of deciding which mine field has the better landscaping.

I like video games. I find them to be a great stress reliever especially first and third person shooters. I also like puzzles and platform games as well.

I used to be an avid reader but times being what they are, my reading has been focused more on the technical aspects of computers than the stuff I normally would choose. I've delved into Soviet era spies, histories on ancient Greece and Rome and American history.

I'm not wealthy but I'm not complaining either.

I'm a furry as one can gather from my presence on this site. I identify strongly with felines, being the solitary carnivore that I am.

I'm athletic, as I run long distances each day (4 to 10 miles) and work out with weights.
