Can't think of what title of this one...the music of the moment tells me a
lot about what kind of mood I was in when I wrote…and right now I'm restless.
So here's my ponderance (oh crap spelling)...if one chooses to align
themselves with someone, say in a business sense, and that person allows themselves
to be associated with another with highly questionable traits, does the
original person have any right to be concerned about that association? To be
more specific... one of my fav people (let's see what call I call them, how
about L) is often mentioned by someone else, that we both know. I keep my
distance from this person, though I do keep an eye on them from a distance.
Half for the humor and half for the concern. Now... the one I do associate
with, L, does not publicly admit to having anything to with the other
person... but the other person does publicly state the association, insinuates
that there's more to it than there is (to the best of my knowledge). L makes no
move to state otherwise. I assume it's because he thinks it's insignificant. It
is, overall. It makes me CRINGE when I hear the other mention L, because I
happen to think a lot of L, personally and otherwise, and this other person is
the biggest piece of self-delusional, hypocritical, thieving shit ever. L sees
something good in this person, so he has a lot more patience with the whole
thing than I do.
And in the end, even that association was not being made public, I still
worry about L's reputation and mental states when it comes to this person. I'd
like to say that he should not even bother with this person, but obviously that
would be hypocritical of me. Damn my curiosity. L recently accused me of
worrying about the other person manipulating him. That's a laugh...sure some
people get away with more than others, but the day I see that one being manipulated...
Okay I feel better just stating the above. Meant to write yesterday
about something else, but never got time. Maybe later.
